About the Event
Melissa Almanza, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA earned her undergraduate degree in Special Education at Western Michigan University and her masters in Educational Leadership at UNLV. She has been a BCBA since 2011. She has worked in the Autism field for over 20 years, with experience in schools, homes and clinics. She has worked as a teacher assistant, a teacher, a classroom consultant and as a supervising BCBA. She started her own business, A Balanced Approach LLC, to bridge the gaps between 1:1 therapy and school, and to create more space for a more compassionate, ethical, flexible, big picture, whole-family kind of Applied Behavior Analysis.
